When I was a teenager, often my grandmother made me these turkey rolls with cheese, ham, and sage, when I went to visit her.
She accompanied them with roasted potatoes. This dish always brings good memories.
Ingredients
- 8 slices of turkey breast weighing 70 g each
- 20 g of butter
- 8 Kraft cheese slices
- 8 slices of cooked ham
- Sage
Directions
- Roll out the slices of turkey on the countertop and beat evening them out if necessary, then put a slice of cheese and a slice of cooked ham (possibly a sage leaf) on each.
- Make rolls by closing them with one or more toothpicks.
- In a frying pan put 3 tablespoons of oil and a large nut of butter then brown the rolls over medium heat adding a little salt, pepper and herbs, until they have a golden color, then continue cooking, over low heat with a covered pan, for 7-10 minutes.
- When cooked, place the rolls on a serving plate, sprinkle them with the cooking base and serve them hot.
